Clerical/Secretarial Positions

     Administrative Assistant, Johnson Surgery Center, Enfield

    16-hour day position working Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 1 pm.   Requirements:  3 years of Administrative  experience at the Senior level.  Excellent organizational skills as well as Customer service skills a must.

     

    Scheduler, Central Scheduling

    20-hour evening position working Monday through Friday and every other weekend and holiday from 5 pm to 9 pm. Requirements: HS graduate with Scheduling and registration experience in a hospital setting.  Excellent customer service and organizational skills a must.

     

    Transcriptionist, Health Information Services

    40-hour position working Sunday through Thursday from 8 am to 4:30 pm, including occasional coverage as needed. Requirements: Minimum 2 years experience in a hospital setting.  Excellent Customer Service a must.

    Coder/Analyst, Health Information Services

    40-hour position working Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm, including some weekend coverage as needed. Requirements:  Minimum of 2 years experience in hospital coding .  candidate must have excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.  Experience with 3-M a plus.

Non-Nursing Clinical Positions

    Patient Care Technician, Medical/Surgical

    32-hour evening shifts working four 8-hour shifts form 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm, including every other weekends and holiday. Qualifications: High school graduate. Graduate of certified nursing aide course or equivalent education and training (i.e., medical assistants, nursing students with clinical experience).

    Patient Care Technician, Medical/Surgical

    36-hour night position working three 12-hour shifts from 6:45 pm to 7:15 am, including every other weekend and holiday. Qualifications: High school graduate. Graduate of certified nursing aide course or equivalent education and training (i.e., medical assistants, nursing students with clinical experience).

    Radiology Technician, Diagnostic Imaging

    20-hour float position working various hours and days as needed. Requirements: High School graduate plus completion of formal radiological technology training accredited by Committee on Allied Heath Ed and AMA.  Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists. Requirements: Connecticut Radiographer license. 6 months training in 1 specialized area of Radiology.

    Phlebotomist, Laboratory

    40-hour day position working from 5:30 am to 2 pm, including some weekend and holiday coverage. Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent. At least one year of experience in a hospital or laboratory setting. Completion of phlebotomy training program.

    Respiratory Therapist

    16/24-hour day Baylor position working EVERY WEEKEND from 7 am to 7 pm.  Requirements: Graduate of an AMA approved two-year program in Respiratory Care;  must have passed the entry-level certification exam. Current CT License.

    LPN or Medical Assistant, Women’s Wellness OBGYN (Enfield Site)

    40-hour day position working Monday through Friday with various day/evening hours.  Requirements:

    Certified Medical Assistant or LPN with at least 5 years experience working in similar capacity in an OBGYN office. Excellent customer service , flexibility and patient scheduling , billing a must.

    Medical Technologist, Laboratory

    40-hour evening position working Monday through Friday from 4 pm to 12:30 am, including every 4th weekend and rotating holidays. Requirements: MT(ASCP) OR MLT 9 ASCP). Experience in a hospital setting preferred but not required.  Excellent customer service a must.

    Physicians Assistant, Emergency Services

    36-hour position working three 12-hour day shifts from 11 am to 11 pm, including every other weekend and holiday.  Requirements: Completion of approved program for Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. Current certification as a Physician Assistant. At least one year of Emergency Medicine experience.  Excellent Customer Service skills a must.

    ED Technician, Emergency Services

    12-hour day position working one 12-hour shift from 6:45 am to 7:15 pm, including every other weekend and holiday. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.  Certification as EMT, CNA or MRT. 2+ years of college education with strong interest in the medical profession.

    Ultrasound Technologist, Diagnostic Imaging

    Full or part-time, but can work up to 40-hours, Monday through Friday, including every third Saturday.  Position can be flexible, including 3 - 10 hour days during the week.. Qualifications: ROMS, 3 years of experience as staff sonographer.

     

    Physical Therapist, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (Outpatient)

    20-hour position working Monday through Thursday from 3 pm to 7 pm  and Fridays from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Requirements: BS, M.S. or DPT in physical Therapy.  Outpatient experience .  Current CT license. Excellent customer service a must.

    Physical Therapist, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (Outpatient)

    40-hour position working four to five days per week, eight to ten hours per shift, including two evenings per week and rotating weekend coverage as needed. Requirements: BS, M.S. or DPT in physical Therapy.  Outpatient experience .  Current CT license. Excellent customer service a must.

    Pharmacist

    10-hour position working EVERY SATURDAY AND SUNDAY from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm, including rotating holidays. Requirements: Degree in Pharmacy, Licensed in the state of CT.  Hospital experience preferred.

    Respiratory Therapist (PER DIEM)
    Hours available on all shifts. Requirements: Graduate of AMA  approved two-year program in respiratory  Care. Current CT license.

Nursing Positions

    Registered Nurse Epidemiologist, Infection Control

    40-hour day position working Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30 pm. Requirements: CT licensed RN Graduate of a baccalaureate, National League for Nursing accredited program or equivalent health care field.  Certification in Infection Control is preferred.  A minimum of two years of clinical experience is required. 

    Clinical Nurse Manager, Medical/Surgical

    40-hour day position working  Monday through Friday  with occasional weekend rotation as needed.

    Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.  B.S. required. Current Connecticut State licensure. Three to five years critical care nursing experience.  Med Surg experience preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills using CQM, excellent interpersonal skills.  Good communication skills, good conflict resolution skills, good system thinker skills. 

    Administrative Manager Supervisor/Registered Nurse

    36/48-hour night weekend BAYLOR position working EVERY Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7 pm to 7:30 am. Requirements: Three to five years current acute care nursing experience.  One year experience in a leadership role such as a charge nurse, assistant nurse manager or supervisor, or appropriate education in management and communication theory.

     

    Administrative Manager Supervisor/Registered Nurse

    36-hour position working two days per week from 7 am to 7:30 pm and one night shift from 7 pm to 7:30 am. Position includes every third weekend and holiday.
