Clerical/Secretarial Positions

    Unit Secretary, Intensive Care Unit

    12-hour day position working every other weekend and holiday from 6:45 am to 7:15 pm. Requirements: Previous experience preferred, orientation and training available. Knowledge of medical terminology and computers or willingness to enroll in a course to acquire such knowledge.  Previously demonstrated organizational skills preferred. CPR certified.

    Administrative Assistant, Quality Resource Management

    40-hour position working Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30 pm. Requirements: Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft office suite.  At least 2 years of experience in an administrative assistant position. Excellent customer service skills a must.

    Record Processing Technician, Health Information Services

    40-hour position working Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Qualifications: Strong  computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft office and data base programs. Office equipment experience including scanning procedures. Candidate must has a health care background and familiarity of healthcare records and documentation.  Excellent customer service a must.

     

    Clinical Secretary, Enfield Surgery Center

    40-hour position working Monday through Friday with flexible day schedule. Requirements: Strong experience in clerical and or scheduling position in a healthcare setting.  Knowledge of medical terminology and excellent experience with computer programs to include Microsoft suite.  Excellent customer service a must.

    Registrar, Registration, JMH/JSC

    Per diem, varied hours day and evening. Requirements: One-year registration or business office experience in a medical setting with knowledge of the health insurance industry preferred. Good written, verbal and typing skills.

Medical Assistant, JPA- Enfield Women’s Health

32-hour position working Monday and Tuesday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Thursday from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm, and Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Requirements:  Certification of Medical Assistant with OBGYN experience a must .  Excellent computer and customer service skills a must.

Surgical Tech, Perioperative Services

40-hour position working Monday through Friday with “on call” responsibilities. Requirements: OR scrub with excellent skills in Endoscopy and Central Sterile  department. Excellent customer service a must.

Patient Care Technician, Medical/Surgical

36-hour day position working three 12-hour shifts from 6:45 am to 7:15 pm, including every other weekend and holiday. Requirements: Certified Nursing assistant and completion from an accredited program with certification to include previous nursing or nursing assistant experience preferred. Must have no record of convicted patient abuse.  Ability to read, write and record data in English using basic math skills.  Attention to detail, good follow through skills and ability to prioritize tasks.  Cooperation in assisting others and ability to work as a team. 

Registered Occupational Therapist, Psychiatry

32-hour position working Monday through Friday with occasional hours on weekends and holidays.  Hours are flexible day hours. Requirements:  Current CT license  with a B.S. from an accredited college of Occupational Therapy.   Experience in an acute care setting a plus.  Excellent customer service a must.

Respiratory Therapist

Per diem hours available on all shifts. Requirements: Graduate of AMA approved two-year program in Respiratory Care. Current CT license. 

 

Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy

Per diem days. Requirements: Current CT lice with at least 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.

Nursing Positions

 

Perioperative Manager, Perioperative Services

40-hour position working Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4 pm, including call rotation. Requirements: Current RN license preferably a BSN. Three to five years of OR /PACU experience. Current experience scrubbing, and circulating on most surgical procedures. Minimum two years of leadership experience in a charge nurse/management role. Must have strong customer service skills.

Registered Nurse, Perioperative Services

36-hour day position working Monday through Friday. Position includes rotating call responsibilities. Requirements: Current RN license in the state of CT with at least 1 year of operating room experience.  Excellent customer service a must.

Registered Nurse, Case Management, Emergency Department

24 / 36-hour Baylor position working every Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 9 pm, including rotating holidays. Requirements: Current CT RN License with case management background.  Excellent customer service skills a must.

 

Registered Nurse, Peer Review Nurse, Quality Resource Management

20-hour position working flexible daytime hours. Requirements: Registered Nurse in the state of CT  with acute care experience. Excellent computer skills to include MIDAS Application. 

Registered Nurse, Administrative Manager

36 /40-hour night position working three 12-hour nights from 7 pm to 7 am, including every other weekend and holiday. Requirements: Current CT RN license One year experience in a leadership role such as a charge nurse, assistant nurse manager or supervisor, or appropriate education in management and communication theory.

 

Registered Nurse/Clinical Applications Specialist, Information Technology

40-hour, full-time exempt position working Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Position includes occasional call rotation. Requirements:  BSN required with experience in MOUS preferred. Five years clinical experience with knowledge of hospital IT systems and functions. Excellent knowledge with medical and surgical terminology a must, along with excellent customer service skills.

Registered Nurse-BSN/Quality Clinical Nurse Reviewer, Quality Risk Management

40-hour position working Monday through Friday during the day. Requirements:  RN- BSN required with with experience  in quality improvement and acute-care settings. Proficient I MS Office Suite and presentations.  Must have knowledge of Midas and Datavision. Excellent customer service a must.

Registered Nurse, Medical/Surgical

Per Diem positions vailable for all shifts. Requirements:  Current CT RN license.  Med/Surg, acute care, pediatrics chemotherapy a plus.

Registered Nurse, Emergency Services

Per Diem positions available for all shifts.  Requirements:  Current CT RN license with ED and triage experience preferred.  BLS, ACLS and TNCC within one year of hire.

Registered Nurse, Perioperative Services

Per diem position for day hours. Requirements: Current CT RN license with at least 3 years of experience in a hospital setting.

Registered Nurse or LPN, Psychiatry

Per diem positions available for all shifts. Requirements: Current CT RNH license preferably a BSN with at least 6 months in psychiatric/substance abuse setting.

Full-time exempt position. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health Administration or Business Administration.  A health related degree is preferred but not required. Three (3) to five (5) years of healthcare administration in a hospital or long-term care facility.  Management experience required.

Bio/Engineering Medical Technician, Engineering Department

40-hour position working Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm, including some “on call” coverage. Requirements: A.A.S. in Bio-Medical Electronics or equivalent job experience. AAMI certification or electronics certification,  advanced electronic training.  Ability to read schematics, service manuals and work with test equipment.  Excellent customer service a must.
